WPA produces and supplies cushioning foam in block, die-cut, laminated or moulded forms depending on the complexity, fragility and batch quantity of the product to be shipped. These products protect goods from shocks and scratches and ensure safe and reliable transport, storage and handling. They are resistant to moisture and can be supplied in several thicknesses, shapes and densities. We stock a variety of foams all with different properties and will be happy to help you choose the right one for your products.
A soft material suitable for extremely fragile products which we stock in densities of 21-23 kg/m3. We can cut and shape this foam to suit your products.

PE foam is expanded polyethylene with a closed cell structure. It is lightweight, flexible, easy to process, water-resistant and an excellent cushioning material. This foam can absorb repeated shocks and is ideal where multiple-drop protection is required We stock PE foam planks size 1200-2000mm and in densities of 22kg/m3, 35kg/m3 and 60kg/m3, which can be cut to various sizes and shapes. It can also be supplied with anti-static properties.
XPE foam is expanded polyethylene with a cross-linked cell structure. It is generally used for heavier products. It is flexible, easy to process, water-proof and an excellent cushioning material. This foam can absorb repeated shocks and is ideal multiple-drop protection is required but also has the added advantage of greater compressive strength. We stock XPE foam plank size 2000 x 1000mm and 2400 x 1200mm with densities of 33kg/m, 45kg/m3 and 60kg/m3, which can be cut to various sizes and shapes. Colour of our standard material is Anthracite but other colours are available to order.
Polyethylene Foam Profiles cushion and protect edges and corners during transportation. They can be re-used and are resistant to moisture and temperature fluctuations. Profiles can be supplied in “U”, “L” and “C” formats. They can also be used to insulate tubes as they are non-flammable and have an excellent co-efficient of thermal insulation.
